Candidate Assignments
Here you can find information about some of the assignments you will be required to complete throughout the semester. These are NOT the only assignments required by the TARI project or you 402/403 class. Please see the TARI handbook and class syllabus for a complete list of assignments.
Explain Everything App Screencast
Each candidate will create a screen made with Explain Everything showing how to use an app (or apps) assigned to them.

eBook
Candidates will create an eBook using iBooks author that includes :
1. One chapter about your student that includes:

eBooks created by candidates will be published to the iBooks store where they will be available for teachers to download and read to help them determine which apps will be useful to them in the classroom.
1. One chapter about your student that includes:
- Background Information collected about the student (name, age, reading level, etc.)
- Initial impressions - Example: “On first meeting Logan appeared very shy and apprehensive. It was hard to gather information about him. However; after introducing the iPad, Logan was very interested and excited to begin working)
- Results of the QRI5 initial pretest
- Results of the QRI5 final postest
- One chapter about the apps assigned for you to use (Candidates are only required to complete sections about the apps that were assigned to them at the beginning of the semester, but may add additional sections about other apps they used.)
- An introduction to the app including the price, manufacturer, which concentration area it was used for, and other important information.
- A screencast made with Explain Everything showing how to use the app
- An evaluation of each app and its effectiveness including information from reflections completed.
